It is always a big goal of mine to capture a really great snapshot of me and my kiddos on Mother's day. 
Some years have been better than others. This year was pretty comical. The sun was too bright for Will and Anna was sooo ready for her nap, and not cooperating.
Oh well. This is life with three blessings, for which I am truly thankful. Funny pictures and all!

Even when they don't turn out, I never regret a photo shoot. Photography is about capturing moments and let face it, not all of life's moments are ideal.
One of my goals was to get one of those mother's day photos as well, but it didn't happen between crabby babies, church, lunch, naps, dirty clothes, and weather.
My husband said to me when I was whining about not getting the picture, "You're a mother every day, so we can try and get one tomorrow." So true.
