Girly fun.....

I have been working on Anna's hair. It's just long enough to put a little clip in now, and it is getting lighter. It doesn't stay in for long, but it is fun to try it. She looks like such a big girl!

Anna now weighs 20 lbs and is 27 inches long. She's army crawling everywhere and loves baby food, her brothers, and taking walks!

New Curtains

After having the material for three months I finally found the motivation and time to make new curtains for our front windows. I used the rings with clips to hang them and I really like how they turned out.

Here's a close-up.....you can't see it very well but it has a gingham black and taupe trim along the edge.

Swimming Lessons!

Water-boy Wyatt floating on his back in the water! Tomorrow is our last day of swimming lessons. This was Wyatt's first year and he's doing a great job!

Here's Wyatt getting ready to put his face in the water and do a "torpedo". He loves the water and jumping in the pool.

Water-boy Will is taking off on his own in the pool! He has enjoyed swimming lessons and learned so much this year. He can swim the length of the pool on his back and front!

Here's Will, swimming the length of the pool and working on taking side breaths!

California Redwoods

We went camping at Crescent City over the 4th of July and enjoyed our time along the coast, spending time with extended family, and visiting the Redwoods on our way home.

The trees are truly amazing.....it makes you realize what an awesome God we have. Enjoying the outdoors and HIS creation was wonderful. Now I am enjoying the HOME He's blessed me with....especially provisions as simple as carpet under my feet :)

The boys started swimming lessons today so I'll be posting pic's soon. We had a fun trip.....and it's GOOD to be home!

Beach Bum

Anna enjoyed her first trip to the beach! Here she is enjoying the sun and the sand....

Craig is fishing for perch in the ocean. He has his helpers, cousins: Kaylei, Alissa, Sydni, along with Wyatt close at hand.

Look what we've been up to....

Another fun MOPS outing! We visited the fire station and got hats to take home.

A Father's Day Kiss

This pic is from Father's Day....the boys giving Dad loves. We are home now so I am "catching up" the blog. Stay tuned for more :)

Pony Rides

The boys got turns taking their first pony rides, on our MOPS outing to a local farm. I wasn't sure if they would want to or not once we got there, but they were both all for it! Wyatt looks a little hesitant in this picture, but he actually had a great time. He was one of the first kids to hop on!

Will's turn! He listened carefully and was very serious about his first horse ride. He had fun too!

Adrenaline Rush!

Oh, the perks of having a PE teacher for a Dad! Craig rented this obstacle course for field day and the past two evenings we've gone to the school to let the boys play. Craig and I went through too....it's so hilarious!

I told the boys to "pose" so I could get their pic....check out Will's "pose"!

Valley of the Giants!

This was the first of many "Family Activity Day's" or FAD's for short. Craig and I have gone through our calendar and blocked out a few days a months for family outings. Things as simple as playing in the yard or having a picnic, or going on a day trips.

Yesterday we took and adventure to the Valley of the Giants. It was a mile+ hike through some enourmous trees. We had so much fun doing somthing new as a family. The boys did great. We actually looped around the hike twice (by mistake) but Will walked the whole time and Wyatt only had to be carried at the very end! This is a picture of the boys sitting on top of a fallen tree log.

The boys and I on a rock by the Siletsz River. A beautiful day....it was nice and cool down in the shade!
